On Thursday, JHS held its first ever 7th Grade Day. Incoming 7th graders were welcomed in and shown all that Jay High has to offer. Students were led by current members of JHS’ Student Government Association. Pics are of the gym lobby where students were registered and received lockers.
With player safety on the minds’ of everyone nowadays, the Royals’ Football Team has begun using tackling wheels at practice during certain times. The amount of physical contact at practice has been reduced by the FHSAA forcing coaches to think outside the box. The device allows a simulation tackle, greatly reducing the possiblity of injury.
