Volunteers from the Chumuckla community gathered over the weekend to place American Flags by the graves of veterans at Elizabeth Chapel Cemetery. Friday was a great day for the Jags at Central. Three young ladies signed scholarships to play volleyball with Jefferson Davis in Brewton. The teammates will continue to play together, taking friendship and talent to the Brewton campus. The seniors are Brittney Forsythe, Natalie Jernigan, and Haleigh Padgett.
The Jay FFA Land Judging team of Satchel Starling, Olivia Moore, Brooklyn Linzy and Alisha Roberts placed first at the FFA county land judging contest last Friday. Satchel Starling was the High Scoring Individual at the contest. Congratulations to all.
