Relay team runs 61 miles

A special team ran/walked for a special reason at Jay’s Relay for Life, Friday night. The team members were Milette West, Kristina Schantz, Trey Brinson, David McCarthy. Jay Tennis falls in Regionals

Jay’s boys tennis team traveled to Tallahassee today to face Maclay in regionals.  The Royals lost 4-1.  Evan Goodson lost to M. Sweeney 6-2,6-2;  Eric Trevino beat C. Stevens 4-6,6-2,6-1; Cody Paramore lost to Peibles 6-4,6-1; Justice Garcia lost to Saff 6-2,6-4; and Dylan Wolfe lost to Terrigan 6-4,6-1.

Jay’s FFA Land Judging team- 1st place

The Jay FFA Land Judging team of Satchel Starling, Olivia Moore, Brooklyn Linzy and Alisha Roberts placed first at the FFA county land judging contest last Friday.  Satchel Starling was the High Scoring Individual at the contest. Congratulations to all.

Royals Tennis sweeps Freeport

The Jay Royal tennis team opened their season against Freeport this afternoon.  The boys and girls teams both overpowered Freeport’s teams 7-0. Jay High’s winterguard Baggin’ for Tips

The Winterguard will be baggin’ for tips Saturday, January 26th. From 7 AM -6PM at the Greer’s grocery store in Jay. All proceeds will go to purchase equipment and uniforms.
