Floyd not selected for Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission

 Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Charles “Chuck” Roberts to the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Jack Floyd, from Jay,  was seeking this position to help strengthen the voice of Northwest Florida.  The Governor selected Roberts, 58, who is from Tallahassee and has been the president of C.W. Bridge Closure 9/17

Red Rock Road Bridge over Big Juniper Creek in the Springhill Community will close on on September 17 for deck replacement and general maintenance.  The bridge will remain closed for  8 to 10 weeks.  The detour will be Abb Pittman Road, to Indian Ford Road, to Pleasant Home Road.    For more information, contact  the Santa Rosa County  Road and Bridge Department at (850)  626-0191.
