Monday @ Jay- The Royals jumped out to a huge lead on Monday and never looked back as they downed district foe Freeport, 62 -36. Blayne Miller led all scoring with 30 points. Miller connected on eight 3’s. Jay  26 8 5 23-62 Freeport 3 13 14 6-36

Lady Royals Improve to 13-1

@ Flomaton-The Lady Royals improved to 13-1 on Thursday by defeating the rival Hurricanes 60-46. Leading scorer for the Royals was Makenna Locklin with 20.  Jada Lowey and Hayden Burkett both added 7. Nine out the ten Lady Royals all scored. Jay 16 13 17 14—60 FHS-9 10 12 15—46

Lady Royals Defeat Baker

@Jay- The Royals hosted Baker on Tuesday night in their first district contest of the year. Jay defeated Baker to improve to 2-1 and 1-0 in district. The final score was 58 to 39. Nect up for Jay is a trip to Nortview on Thursday.

Royals look to Sting Yellowjackets

Jay is traveling to Vernon to compete in the 2nd round of the FHSAA pkayoffs in football for thw first time since 2002. Jay (6-4) downed Panama City Bozeman 49-0 last week to advance.  Check back to get a final later tonight. Jay (6-4) at Vernon (8-2)—7:30pm
