Jay-On Friday night, before kickoff, the members of the 1971 football team were recognized and honored on their 50th anniversary. A thunderous applause from the Jay faithful as each member’s name and coaches’ were called over the loud speaker. The 71’ Royals opened up that year with a win over the Century Blackcats.
