Royals Get First Win!

Jay-On a brisk, late October night that finally felt like football weather, the Royals showed up and got their first win of the season. Jay (1-8) took on J.U. Blackshear (2-8) in front of a big homecoming crowd. After a scoreless 1st quarter, Jay scored midway through the 2nd on a 24 years field goal. The Bulldogs marched right back down the field, aided by a couple of personal fouls by the Royals, but through a pic in the end zone with less than a minute to play in then first half. The second half was all Jay as they cruised to a 24-0 victory.

Up next for the Royals is at Chipley next Friday. Chipley is coached by 2002 Jay Alumni Marcus Buchanan.
