Jay Elementary celebrated students reaching their AR (accelerated reader) goals. Students were treated to music by the Jay High Marching Band. The Boy Scouts presented the flag. Entertainment was provided by the Jay High Competition Cheer squad, and the Jay Recreational league cheer squads. All of the students who met their goal was recognized.

As part of the homecoming activities this week, students were allowed to wear a hat or cap to school today for a dollar donation to United Way. SGA sponsored the event in effort to raise money for the United Way campaign.
