Jay High’s winterguard Baggin’ for Tips

The Winterguard will be baggin’ for tips Saturday, January 26th. From 7 AM -6PM at the Greer’s grocery store in Jay. All proceeds will go to purchase equipment and uniforms.

Jay boys face Baker

JV boys started the action on the court tonight, falling behind in the first. But the Royals came back strong in the following quarters to take the lead. It was an exciting and close game but the Royals came out on top 40-36. Victor Mishoe led in scoring for the Royals with 17 points.

Jay’s JV girls beat Baker

In a tight ball game. Jay’s jr varsity girls scored with 11 seconds on the clock for a win. The winning three pointer was scored by Harley Tagert. Final score 24-22

Central and Jay fall in basketball action last night

Central boys faced Paxton last night  but were defeated.  Jay was also defeated by Northview last night in Bratt.  Both teams have games later this week.

Competition squad takes first

Jay’s competition cheer squad competed Saturday at Chipola College. The group came in first in their division. This helps the girls get ready for FHSAA state competition to be held in Orlando the first weekend in February.

The Royals traveled to Freeport for games tonight.  The Lady Royals were defeated by Freeport.  In boys action, the Royals led from the beginning. JHS Competition Advance To State!

Jay High’s Competition Cheer Squad competed in the FHSAA Regionals Saturday morning in Jacksonville.  The squad placed in the top five, qualifing them for the State competition to be held in Orlando February 1st.

Lady Jags Fall to Baker

Central Lady Jags fall to Baker 54-41.  A tough game with lots of bruises.  This loss brings Central to a 6-6 season. Stats to follow
