Last night Northview and Freeport were eliminated in the first games of the district tournament held at Jay. Tonight will have the Lady Royals in action. The games are at 5 and 7 in Jay.

Two Home Runs hit in Jay’s Win
Sydney Lowery and Harley Tagert hit home runs yesterday in Jay’s win yesterday over Holmes County. That’s 12 homeruns for the season for the girls. The Lady Royals won big against a district rival 11-4. The Lady Royals will play a double-header today Elba at 4 and Escambia Academy to follow.
Jay Baseball Wins on the Road
The Jay baseball team traveled to Holmes County last night. The Royals won 9-2. Dalton Edwards pitched all 7 innings. The Royals will travel to Gulf Breeze for a game on Thursday.
JAY SOFTBALL DOMINATES NORTHVIEW
The Lady Royals beat the Chiefs yesterday 16-0. Sydney Lowery hit a homerun for the Royals in the game. The Royals will play at home today. This will also be Senior night for the six girls in the 2014 class. Senior activities will kick off about 5:30
Lady Royals get Another W
After suffering a loss last week against Chipley, the Lady Royals rallied and came out with a big 15-8 district win over them last night. Three Lady Royals hit home runs during the game Taylor Moore, Michaela Stewart, and Samantha Steadham . Jay will face Northview today at home in a game that was cancelled earlier in the season.
Central beats Jay
The Jags traveled to Jay tonight for a cold and wet baseball game. The Jags won 6-2 over the Royals. Winning pitcher for Central was Justin Abel.
