The Little Miss Jay Pageant took place last weekend with close to seventy girls competing for the titles. In the K-1st grade division, Emilee-Grace Braswell was crowned Queen. The Royals classic Winterguard and Percussion Competition will be Saturday February 14, 2015. Competition begins at 4:30 and scoring to be announced at 9:15. Admission is $10.00. There will be a full concessions all day. There are over 20 groups performing so plan on being at Jay High School gym and spend all day..
Jay High School’s Dana Blackmon signed a scholarship to play softball for JDCC in Brewton. Dana is the daughter of Preston and Kathy Blackmon of Jay. She is one of the first players to sign for Jeff Davis this year.
