Santa Rosa County School District is holding community town halls all across the district and tonight (Tuesday), Jay High will have it’s turn. It is open to the public. The event starts at 6:00pm in JHS Auditorium.

JES Teacher of the year…

Rhonda Adams was selected Jay Elementary School’s teacher of the year. Rhonda, a 2002 graduate from Jay High, has been teaching at JES for 12 years and teachers 3rd grade.

JHS Teacher of the Year…

Lana Rowell was selected Jay High’s teacher of the year. Lana, a 2000 graduate from JHS, serves as JHS’ librarian and also is the SGA sponsor. She came to JHS after serving 10 years at Jay Elementary. Lana is in her fourth year at JHS.
