South 22-On Thursday, Jay High’s FFA held their annual award banquet. A meal was provided, awards were given, and seniors were recognized. Sponsor Kaylen Findley expressed her pride in this year’s group as many are competing at the state FFA competition in Orlando in June.

This year’s sports’ banquet will be held in the JHS Auditorium at 6pm on Friday, 5/21. There will be no food served.

Molino-On Saturday, the Jay FFA was well represented at the Gulf Coast Agriculture and Natural Resources Youth Organization Show. Emerson Walters and Major Rowell both participated in rabbit competition. Sophomore Emerson Walters’ rabbit “Paisley” won in the Lionhead division and seventh grader Major Rowell’s rabbit “Graham” won in the lop eared division. Emerson’s rabbit also won best overall.
