North Santa Rosa

Prep Football: Week 7

CENTRAL (0-5) @ JAY (1-4)—KICKOFF 7:00PM

Jay hosts Central tonight and are looking to get back in the win column. Things have not gone as hoped this year for the Royals, which have lost four in a row after winning their season opener. Jay, which was in every game they fell short in, will be a little short-handed this week as a result of a couple ejections from last week’s rival game against Flomaton. The second half of Jay’s schedule would appear to be much more friendly in terms of both opponents’ win/loss totals and three of the final five games at home. Central would like nothing more than to start the Royals’ second half of their season with a loss and the Jags’ first win.

Last season, Jay defeated Central 49-0.

PACE (4-1) @ MADISON COUNTY (2-3)—KICKOFF 7:30PM

Pace takes its four game winning streak on the road to 1A powerhouse Madison County this week. Pace has done nothing but win and win convincingly for that matter since week one. Pace’s offense has scored a minimum of 34 points in each of their four wins, and have only given up a total 34 points on defense since their week one loss.

Last season Pace squeaked by the Cowboys, 35-31.

MILTON (5-1) IS OPEN.

PREDICTIONS

Well, northsantarosa.com fell flat on our face last week with picks, going an unacceptable 1-3, brining the total on the going-by-too-fast 2025 season to 11-8. We will do better this week!

Since Jay and Central are playing, does this pick count as double credit? If we get it right, yes, if wrong, no…Jay gets back in the win column and Central has to wait at least one more week for a win………………… Jay 35 Central 7

Pace makes the long trip to Madison County and, for the first half, it’s a game…but Patriots just too much for Cowboys this year and win by double digits…Pace 38 Madison County 24
