Ellen Sue Sumner
Ellen Sue Sumner, 73, went to be home with the Lord on 25 January 2023 in Pensacola, Florida. Ellen was born on 2 December 1949.
Ellen lived a vibrant and loving life. She never met a stranger and was generous with her time and talents. She was artistically gifted and loved painting, crafting, sewing, cooking, baking, and enjoyed thrift shopping. Her greatest joy was her family. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ellen is survived by her husband, Charles Sumner of Brewton, Alabama; her four children, Randy Smith of Middleport, Ohio, Scott Smith of Brewton, Alabama, Tracey Levens of Stuttgart, Germany, and Jenny Kogut of Salem, Virginia; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; her five siblings, Carolyn Tukay of Brewton, Alabama, Betty Howard of Denver, Colorado, Billy Clary of Mobile, Alabama, and Johnny and Joe Clary of Brewton, Alabama.
