North Santa Rosa

New School Bus Technology aimed at making stops safer

Santa Rosa is cracking down on drivers who illegally pass school buses by joining forces with the Child Safety Program powered by AngelTrax, a name you can trust (Child Safety Program), an all-in-one automated stop arm violation system—from violation detection to citation through adjudication. The Child Safety Program officially launches today (March 4, 2024) in Santa Rosa County.

Drivers cited through the Child Safety Program will face a $225 fine for each offense, and citations should be expected in the mail within two weeks of each violation. Citation recipients can visit www.childsafetyprogram.us to pay the fine or to view evidence supporting the citation, including high-resolution images and video of the violation. If you wish to contest the citation, please follow the instructions provided on your citation to request a court hearing and/or complete and submit an affidavit.
