Santa Rosa Woman’s Club November Meeting and Events
Gulf Breeze, Florida, October 25, 2016– Tuesday, Nov 1st, GFWC Santa Rosa Woman’s Club will hold it’s third educational luncheon of the season, highlighting programs and volunteer opportunities for members. The November program will feature guest speaker SHARON GINCAUSKAS, speaking on OCEAN HOUR INC. OCEAN HOUR is a local division of Mother Ocean, which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating, inspiring, and empowering ocean advocates worldwide. Sharon will be speaking to the club about weekly beach clean ups and other ways our community can help protect our beautiful shores lines.
Kathy Barrett, SRWC Conservation Chair, along with 2016 committee members, Lolly Stanford, Annette Brinkman, and Mary Eder have organized this inspiring program.
The meeting begins at 10:30 at Tiger Point Golf Club.
The Santa Rosa Woman’s Club held a Fall Wine and Cheese Social at the home of Angi Huntley in Grand Pointe on October 11, 2016. All of the ladies who attended the event had an enjoyable evening while learning how the SRWC serves our area along with information about obtaining membership in the nationally federated club.
In December, the club will be collecting Christmas gifts for a formerly homeless veteran that finally has a home in our community, as well as beginning to fundraise for our local ROTC.
GFWC Santa Rosa, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, has been serving the Gulf Breeze community for more than 52 years. As part of the General Federation of Women’s Club and Florida Federation of Women’s Clubs, SRWC joins the largest volunteer organization of women in the world.
