Pumpkins Galore at Whitfield Farms
There is no shortage of pumpkins this year at Stanley Whitfield’s farm in Berrydale, which is about 15 miles outside north of Milton on Highway 87. There are literally thousands of pumpkins of all shapes and sizes, which is a true blessing when you think about what happened last year. “We didn’t have any last year. None. Weather wouldn’t cooperate,” stated owner Stanley Whitfield. This year, there are too many pumpkins, acorn squash, and gourds to count. There are pumpkins that weigh a few ounces and some that weigh over 100 pounds!
All pumpkins are locally grown and range in price from $1.00 – $40.00, most falling in the $2-$5.00 range.
The address is 12290 hwy 87, Milton, Fl, 32565.
