JES Students Compete in Math Tournament
Recently, students from Jay Elementary School competed in a math tournament held at Pensacola High School. Jay Elementary students brought home several awards from the competition.
4th Gr Results for Individual Round – Avery Mitchem and Jody Godwin received Honorable Mention. Emerson Walters placed 10th overall.
4th Gr Results for Team Round – 3rd place overall
5th Gr Results for Individual Round – Shawn Thompson received Honorable Mention. Megan Bethea placed 1st overall.
6th Gr Results for Individual Round – Katelyn Mayo placed 8th overall, Brody Johnson placed 4th overall, and Carson Walters placed 2nd overall.
With the combined scores of our 4th and 5th grades, JES walked away with a 2nd place overall sweepstakes trophy.
