Media Scholarship Available

As students across the United States continue to invest in their education, many are taking the time to invest in social media as well. In recognition of the growing number of American students showing a passion to lead and inspire positive change through social media, we have created the Marketing Certified Students Leading Social Media Scholarship. Each school year we are proud to offer opportunities for students to win scholarships to help ease the financial burden of a post secondary education. Tell your friends and fellow students about the program!

Marketing Certified Students Leading Social Media Scholarship
Deadline: August 31st, 2015
Award Value: $1,000 USD

Who Can Apply?

The Social Media Scholarship is designed for students who are between the ages of 16 and 25 who have maintained a 2.5 GPA or greater in the most recent year completed.

To be considered eligible for the Marketing Certified Social Media Scholarship you must:

1. Be between the ages of 16 and 25 on August 31st, 2015

2. Complete the 50 question social media exam which you can access by signing up here: www.marketingcertified.com This will demonstrate that you are proficient in social media.

3. Email a short essay explaining how you think social media would, from a future employment prospective, benefit your career. Explain in under 500 words how understanding social media would help you become more marketable to a potential employer. Clearly identify how it will benefit you.

For example Pinterest may help you if you are interested in Travel or Tourism. Note that this should not just be stated. You must provide an argument supporting this statement. Also explain why you think you should be granted the Social Media Scholarship. Send your essay to: scholarship@ marketingcertified.com

4. Be a citizen of the United States or Canada

5. Register your contact information below. We need this information in the event that you win.

The scholarship winner will be announced roughly five weeks after the deadline and will be posted on the website immediately after. All applications must be received by 11:59pm PST on August 31st, 2015. No late applications will be reviewed.

Please note: Any applications, grades or essays mailed to our office or training center will be rejected immediately and returned to sender.
