MILTON COMMUNITY FOOTBALL GAME TO BE FUNDRAISER FOR COACH

This Saturday the Milton Community Center football teams will honor Juniors coach Danny Ray Martin with a fund raiser to help defer medical costs as Martin is preparing for a heart transplant.

The first game will start at 8 a.m. with the Milton Mini Mites hosting the Ensley Blue football squad.

Admission to the day of eight games is $5 per adult and $3 for children over 13.

The final game will kick off at 6:30 p.m. when the Milton Junior squad will face off against the Ensley Juniors.

Martin, who is currently awaiting his heart transplant had to move temporarily to Jacksonville, Fla., at the end of September. He is currently on the transplant list and awaiting a donor.

During this time Martin will not be able to work and will be quite limited in what he can do after the transplant. He is also incurring the cost of medicines his insurance does not cover as well as moving and living expenses while awaiting the transplant.

We are asking citizens to come out and join us in support for Coach Martin in his time of need.

If you would like to donate, an account has been set up at Pen Air Federal Credit Union in care of Danny Ray Martin (account no. 2661938). All donations are tax deductible.

All donations and support are greatly appreciated.
