Jay’s Varsity Basketball Team Honored at School Board Meeting

The Jay High School Varsity Basketball team was honored on Thursday night at the Santa Rosa County School Board Meeting.  These young gentlemen were honored for winning the 1A Academic State Championship in Basketball.  The team had the highest GPA of any 1A boys basketball team in the state of Florida.  These boys work hard in the classroom as well as on the court.

Members of the team:  Tate Upton, Brandon Boutwell, Marshall Thomas, Holden McCaskill, AJ Fraley,  Thomas Fischer, Eric Trevino, Taylor Kelley, Justice Garcia,  and Victor Mishoe.   The team is coached by Jacob Jordan.
