Santa Rosa Clerk of Court and Comptroller’s Office Receives 100% Accuracy Rating

Donald C. Spencer, Santa Rosa County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller, announces that the Clerk’s office has received a 100% accuracy rating on records submitted to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) in the 2014 Computerized Criminal History Audit. The audit consisted of obtaining arrest affidavits, fingerprint cards and final court dispositions which were then compared to the corresponding criminal records in the Computerized Criminal History database to determine the number and percentage of errors and discrepancies. The records submitted by the Santa Rosa Clerk and Comptroller’s Office were 100% accurate. The audited records are essential for making informed decisions regarding firearm purchase eligibility, concealed carry weapon permits and licensure for certain sensitive professions.
