Sheriff Hall Announces Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month
On 5-5-14, Sheriff Wendell Hall signed a Proclamation acknowledging May as Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month.
Santa Rosa County has over 6200 licensed motorcycle riders and for good reason; we have some of the most scenic roadways in the State of Florida. Then again, motorcycles have become a growing means for transportation within our County.
Motorcycles are an important part of our roadways and the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office wants to make sure they are safe. From responsible motorcycle driving to vigilant car drivers, we all have our part to share the roadways.
Please take time to think twice about motorcycles on the roadway. And as motorcycle riders, drive safely and responsibly
