ECSO to host Region 1 K9 Trials
Pensacola, Fla. – The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is joining with the Pensacola Police Department and the United States Police Canine Association to host the 2014 Region I K9 Trials March 16 – 21, 2014. K9 competitors will compete in an array of events, including competitions in obedience and agility and criminal apprehension. There will be a free public demonstration the evening of Thursday March 20, 2014 at Woodham Middle School to showcase the skills of the dogs and their handlers.
“We are proud of the efforts of the ECSO K9 unit and very proud to be hosting teams from throughout the South,” said Sheriff David Morgan, “I want to encourage the public to join us for the public demonstration and see these incredibly talented teams in action.”
