Jay Tennis takes down Freeport

The Jay tennis teams traveled to Freeport yesterday for a match.  Jay came out on top in the boys and girls matches.

Boys: in singles; Eric Trevino, 8-0 over McBrayer;  Holden McCaskill 8-1 over Plumley: John Ashworth 8-1 over Godwin; Will Seib 8-0 over Tabb and Colby Odom 8-0 over Garrett.  In doubles;  Trevino/McCaskill 8-0 over Brayer/Costia; and Ashworth/Seib 8-0 over DeFosse/ Decker.

Girls:  in singles; Hillary Hendricks 8-1 over McMain; Emily Russell 8-0 over Shelton; Jennifer Small 8-0 over Westberry; Savannah Kersey 8-0 over Norris; and Reilly Andrews 8-1 over Bowers.  In doubles;  Hendricks/Russell 8-0 over McMain/ Shelton; and Small/Kersey 8-0 over Westberry/Norris
