Citizen Call Helps Deputies Remove DUI from Road

Pensacola, FL — On January 13, 2014 at approximately 5:30 pm deputies received a complaint in reference to a tanker truck driving erratically north on Hwy 29 towards Century. The vehicle was located and stopped. The driver, Alex Victorovich Kozlov, 35, was hauling a full load of a chemical known as Maleic Anhydride to an out of state destination. Because of the driver’s behavior and the odor of alcohol detected, field sobriety tasks were given and Kozlov was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of an Alcoholic Beverage. A half empty bottle of vodka was recovered from the cab of the truck which indicated the suspect was still consuming alcohol at time of stop.
