Santa Rosa Wildfire Updates

Garçon Point Road Fire is at an estimated 80 acres and Florida Forest Service Crews are making good progress despite swampy conditions.
This is the fourth fire in the Garçon Point are in the past three weeks but they are not thought to be related.

The fire off 87 – Christopher Lane Fire – has been contained at 3 acres. It was started by illegal trash burning at a residence.

With dry, windy conditions, it is strongly recommended that residents refrain from burning until we see appreciable rainfall.
