Thornton and Kemp lead Royal Cross-Country to Regionals

The girls and guys performed consistently with almost identical results!!

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Jay High Schools Girl’s and Boy’s Cross Country teams for being District Runner-up Champs at yesterday’s meet at Lake Jackson in Florala.  They had several runners get their personal best times.  Both teams will be traveling to Alligator Lake Park in Lake City next week for Regionals.  Another Big congratulations to Micah Kemp who won overall for the men’s race with a blazing time of 16:44, and Jessica Thornton who won the girls race with a time of 20:18.  We had 3 girls and 3 guys in the top 15 of both races.
