Boy Scout Troop 408

A Memorial Day service was held by Boy Scout Troop 408, Jay, FL, at the Berrydale Community Cemetery on May 27, 2013. Troop 408 honored all veterans buried at the cemetery with a calling out of the veteran’s name and rank. Troop 408 cleaned the cemetery and placed flags at each veteran’s grave site. Ryan McKinley played Taps on the bugle during the ceremony. In addition to honoring the veterans, Troop 408 also honored a former Boy Scout from Jay who passed away when he was 14 years old.
