Jay Tennis splits with T.R. Miller

The Royals tennis teams split with TR Miller.   Jay girls (2-3) record , lost to Miller 7-0.  In singles, M. Manning beat Hendricks 8-2;  Althouser beat E. Russell 8-1;  Quick beat Owens 8-0; Nelson beat A. Russell 8-0; and Peach beat English 8-0.  In doubles Manning/Althouser beat Hendricks/ E. Russell 8-4 and Quick/ Nelson beat Owens/A. Russell 8-2

In boys matches with a 3-2 record, Jay beat T.R. Miller 7-0.  In singles,  Goodson beat C. Carlson 8-4; Trevino beat Frezell 8-0;  Paramore beat Miller 8-2; Garcia beat T. Carlson 8-4; and Wolfe beat Tierdes 8-0.  In doubles,  Goodson/Trevino beat C. and T. Carlson 8-1; and Paramore/Garcia beat Frezell/Miller 8-0

The Royals will face off in district play Monday at Jay against Rocky Bayou.
