Jay Historical Meeting- February 14th

The Jay Historical Society’s Monthly Meeting, Thurs., Feb. 14, 2013, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. will feature Mr. Mike Brock.  Mike is a resident of Jay and a retired educator and coach.  He was born and reared in Century and graduated from CHS in 1968.  He received his bachelor’s degree from FSU in 1972, and then lived out his boyhood dreams of coaching football, baseball, and track.  The last twenty years of his teaching and coaching career were spent at Jay High School.  Mike has a passion for history and has always loved imparting his vast knowledge.  He collects knives and guns, enjoys hunting, and likes to spend time with eight grandchildren.  He is the  father of two daughters and is married to Cynthia McCaskill Brock.
