Jay wins first round of district

The Jay Royals are hosting the boys district in basketball.  Tonight was the first round of the district playoffs.  Northview defeated Freeport in the first game.  Jay then faced off against the Baker Gators.  It was a close game the entire night, and as the buzzer sounded the game was tied up.  In overtime the Royals gained a small lead and was able to hold on to win the first round.  The Royals will face Chipley, Friday night in the second round.
