Santa Rosa’s Teacher of the Year
SANTA ROSA – Santa Rosa School Superintendent Tim Wyrosdick, School Board Members Diane Scott, Scott Peden, and Jenny Granse, members of the Santa Rosa Education Foundation Board of Directors and local media surprised Ann Thompson in her 3rd grade classroom at West Navarre Intermediate this morning to announce her selection as Santa Rosa’s Teacher of the Year.
The SREF Teacher of the Year Selection Committee, which consists of administrators, business and community leaders, and past Santa Rosa Teachers of the Year, observed finalists in their classrooms and conduct extensive interviews before announcing the Santa Rosa Teacher of the Year. Ann will serve as Santa Rosa County’s nominee for Florida Teacher of the Year.
