Grand Jury indicted Bennie Robbins
State Attorney Bill Eddins announced today that a Grand Jury indicted Bennie Robbins of
First Degree Felony Murder in the death of Matthew Cox.
On the night of July 27, 2012, Mr. Cox was shot to death during the commission of a
robbery at his home in Montclair.
Robbins is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday, January 31, 2013.
The investigation and arrest was conducted by the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
Assistant State Attorney Jeff Gaddy is prosecuting the case.
