Jay beats Baker

Friday night was an exciting night in Jay.  The Royals took on “War on Hwy. 4” rivals the Baker Gators.  The Junior Varisty game was exciting till the end with Baker pulling away a little in the 4th.  Then the Varsity team took the court.  It came down to the last second on the clock.  Baker had the ball with 3 seconds left but couldn’t connect.  Jay won!!   Jay 41 Baker 39  Taylor Kelley had 13, Evric Trevino added 10 and Marshall Thomas scored eight to lead the Royals. Jay will host  local teams; Northview, Pensacola Christian and Central in a Christmas tournament beginning Monday.  The tournament will have girls action starting at 3:00, followed by the boys teams.
