CHRISTMAS CHARITY LUNCH AUCTION DECEMBER 11TH

Hosted by the Northwest Florida Paralegal Association

 The Northwest Florida Paralegal Association’s 2012 Christmas Charity Lunch Auction benefiting the Children’s Services Center is to take place at The Portabello Eatery in the Gulf Power Building on December 11, 2012 at noon.  Licensed auctioneer, Steve Blair of Steve & Jody’s Auction Services, LLC, will be providing his services free of charge for this event.  The Charity Auction will consist of almost 70 donated items, ranging from a Wind Creek Casino Getaway for 2 valued at $650 to a priceless ride in an antique, Cold War acrobatic plane.  Altogether, there will be over $7,000 worth of items being auctioned off with no reserve.  Donations are sponsored by NWFPA members, as well as local businesses including Levin, Papantonio, et al., Moore, Hill, & Westmoreland, P.A., Gulf Power Company, Pensacola Forensics, and many others.

100% of the funds raised at this auction will go directly to support Children’s Services Center’s work in the local community.  The Children’s Services Center helps local families by:  providing high quality early education and early intervention services, offering a place to live along with critical therapies for youths with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges, and helping parents and other caregivers provide developmentally appropriate toys and books for their children.

Admission to the auction is $10.50, which includes lunch featuring a Holiday Menu of a Garden Salad, Parker House Rolls, Brown Sugar-Glazed Ham, Turkey Tetrazzini, Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole, and Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie.  RSVP by December 7, 2012 is required to guarantee a seat at this event, as seating is limited.

The Northwest Florida Paralegal Association (“NWFPA”) was formed on August 12, 1981, to encourage a high order of ethical and professional attainment, further education among members of the profession, establish good fellowship among society members and members of the legal community, and cooperate with the bar association. The organization is non-profit and is an affiliate of the National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc. (“NALA”).  The Northwest Florida Paralegal Association is dedicated to encouraging the ethical and professional growth of paralegals in the northwest Florida area by providing continuing education to members of the paralegal profession; by providing a venue for members to interact with other members of the legal community; and by supporting and carrying out the programs, purposes, aims and goals of the National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc.
