Three Suspects Arrested for Meth Lab in Jay

Three people are in jail after the Santa Rosa County Narcotics Unit received an anonymous tip stating that they were involved in the manufacturing of methamphetamine. On 12/4/12 investigators responded to 5131 Neal Jones Road in Jay, Florida, to look into the tip. They heard several subjects talking inside a shed behind the residence. As investigators approached, they saw numerous items present outside the shed which are used during the production of meth. Two of the suspects (Keith Church and Stanley Prothro) exited the shed and told investigators that there was one more person inside the shed. The third suspect, Dawn Neufeldt, was located inside the shed. Investigators immediately discovered a clandestine methamphetamine lab inside the shed. Some of the items located were: peeled lithium batteries, hydrogen chloride gas generators, coffee filters, pseudoephedrine, ammonium nitrate, lye, camping fuel, sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide, and a mason jar containing meth oil. A total of 208 grams of meth oil was located. Due to the meth lab and the amount that was found, all three suspects were arrested on the below mentioned charges. Although the three suspects were present inside the shed, none of them claimed ownership of the items.
