Commission to Discuss Economic Development at November Workshop
The Santa Rosa Commission will discuss economic development at a workshop on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 1:30 p.m. in the commission meeting room located at 6495 Caroline Street in Milton. Commissioners will review the county’s economic development process and structure with the goal of charting a plan of action for the future. The meeting is open to the public and will be streamed live and available for replay at www.santarosa.fl.gov.
The meeting was originally scheduled for Oct. 22, but was rescheduled at the Oct. 11 commission meeting so Commissioners Lynchard and Melvin could attend the Gulf Consortium Meeting in Tallahassee. The Gulf Consortium is being organized by the Florida Association of Counties and would be responsible for developing a plan for accepting and processing project proposals for the state portion of RESTORE Act funds.
