Jaguar Football – – A Possibility–updated with letter
Doug Kelley, a parent of a 7th grader at Central, met with Central Jaguar Booster Club last night to present a plan for Jaguar Football.
If you support, pass the word and have everyone post comments. “We have to rally and get support from the parents to present a united front to the school board with our plan for this”, said one parent at Central.
You can call the school or message the Jaguar Boosters on their facebook page.
Doug has a son that attends Central and plays rec football and does not want to transfer to another school to play football. Jaguar Booster will have to get some major coporations for sponsors — according to Mrs. King the other school football programs are willing to help us.
The school would start with a JV team to begin with.
There are grants available to high school teams etc. so we are sending flyers home with kids to see what kind of response we get from the kids & parents and see if we can get this thing going and have a team.

Parents and students of Central School, are you ready for some FOOTBALL?!! A Quarterback Club is being formed to pursue the feasibility of football at our school in the near future. Please check the appropriate boxes and have your student return this questionnaire to the school by Oct. 16.
