Arrests made in Traffic Homicide
On September 28, 2012 the traffic homicide investigation into the accident that occurred May 31, 2012 was completed. The accident happened at 6:30 pm at the intersection Hwy 98 and Edgewood in Navarre.
The traffic homicide investigation led to the arrest of the driver of a 2004 Dodge Durango, Brianna C. Henderson for failure to obtain a Florida Driver’s license and traffic related offenses for failure yield the right of way at a stop sign and violation of Learner’s Permit requirements. Brianna was 15 at the time of the accident.
Both the driver and the passenger, Alley Catyb and Margaret Catyb, of the 2012 Nissan died as a result of the crash.
The investigation also led to the arrest of the mother of the driver, Apryl M. Tucker, for allowing an unauthorized person to operate a motor vehicle in Florida.
Both individuals were placed into the custody of the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office jail facility in Milton, Florida.
