People on the Move:  Hospitalist Amy Armstrong, M.D., Joins Baptist Medical Group

Baptist Medical Group is proud to welcome Amy Armstrong, M.D., to their growing hospitalist program and extensive physician network. As a hospitalist with the Pensacola-based health care organization, Dr. Armstrong will be exclusively dedicated to caring for patients admitted to two hospitals: Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Fla., and Gulf Breeze Hospital in Gulf Breeze, Fla.

Dr. Armstrong is an experienced physician who is board certified in internal medicine. She joins Baptist Medical Group from Mobile Ala., where she previously served as a full-time hospitalist with the Mobile Hospitalist Group at Springhill Medical Center.

Dr. Armstrong completed both her medical education and residency through the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Ala. In addition, Dr. Armstrong has physician-leadership experience through her position as Chief of Staff at another health care organization.

Along with the team of Baptist hospitalists, Dr. Armstrong will work with patients’ primary care and specialist physicians to provide quality, compassionate care throughout their hospital stay.
