PSC Century Center Hold Open House

The Pensacola State College Century Center held the official Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012.

Edward Meadows, President Pensacola State College, said,”we have great plans for this center for a very long time, for the duration of Pensacola State College. ” He stated that PSC feels an obligation to citizens in the north end of Escambia and Santa Rosa counties to provide a  low cost, high quality accessible education.

Mrs. Paul Jernigan, Director of PSC Century Center, welcomed all the dignitaries and guests.  Ann Brooks, Chair for Century Town Council, stated, “the closing of the schools in the area has been a catalyst, a open door, for PSC to come into our community.”  A negative has become a positive.

The majority of speakers and guest have either attended PJC , PSC or have close family attend.
