Jay Historical Society Meeting Thursday Sept. 13th
September Meeting of the Jay Historical Society will be Thursday, Sept. 13th at 6:30-8:00 in the Museum
The guest speaker will be Mr. Vic Campbell, local author and historian. Mr. Campbell is currently researching local history and has lots to share with us. He is from Chumuckla and authored history books about our area.
Mr. Jim Campbell will hopefully be with us at the meeting also. Mr. Jim has spent many hours researching Santa Rosa County cemeteries and can answer questions regarding topics such as where the cemeteries are located and has lists of tombstones and military markings.
Be sure to come and hear this interesting information. Remember you do not have to be a member to come to the meeting, so bring your neighbors and friends!
