I have read many of Max Lucado’s books over the last 15 years.  Max is an author, preacher, husband, father and much more.  He often inspires me through his insights into God’s Word.

He is part of a “challenge ” to encourage others to join in a daily prayer for our nation and our leaders.  I have committed to become a part of this group of prayer warriors.

So I ask you to join me in 40 Days of Prayer for our Nation and our Leaders.  The 40 days of prayers begin September 28 and end on Election Day, November 6.  Here is the link to sign the pledge.

Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.  Pray especially for rulers and their governments to rule well so we can be quietly about our business of living simply, in humble contemplation.
