EREC Is on Storm Alert
Escambia River Electric Cooperative, Inc. (EREC) continues to remain in a storm alert status. At this time, we are not experiencing any outages inSanta Rosa or Escambiacounties. However, we continue to maintain a complete activation of emergency response personnel in the event they are needed to restore power to the EREC power system. EREC will remain in this prepared state for emergency until the storm has passed in order to expedite the restoration process in the event of damage to our member system.
EREC urges members to pay close attention to all safety precautions and storm warnings. Always treat any downed power line as though it is energized and report it immediately to EREC.
