Baptist Medical Group Welcomes Mike Owens to Human Resources

PENSACOLA, Fla. (August 27, 20102) Baptist Medical Group is pleased to announce the newest addition to their Human Resources Department, human resources manager Mike Owens.

As human resources manager, Owens will serve as a strategic planner for Baptist Medical Group and Cardiology Consultants in all areas of human resources.

Owens brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position from his previous work as a recruiter for the Army for 12 years and his most recent position as a human resources business partner at another healthcare system.  

On a personal note, Owens actively served in the Army for more than 21 years, with most time spent in Germany. He completed his undergraduate degree at Troy University, in Resources and Technology Management, and plans to peruse his master’s degree in the fall of 2013 at the University of West Florida.

He is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management and currently teaches a Human Resources preparation course at Pensacola State College.
