Host of Royals
A great night for football, bands, cheering and fellowship. The JV football team took the field for the first half of the Royal Night game. The crowd was then entertained by the Royal Pride Marching Band. The cheerleading squad performed a routine to kick off the varsity section of the night. The varsity team ran on to the field with a roar from the crowd. The Royals play hard in the humid and hot weather. Coach Kent Smith talked about the boys after the game, “My expectations this year are for the Royals to come out and play hard and play together”. The Royals will travel to Baker for the opening game of the season, often called ” TheWar of Hwy 4″ on Friday, Aug. 24.
Below are the photo galleries of the night’s events. I apologize to the JV players and parents, I was unable to be at the start of the events.
