North Santa Rosa

Tax Exemption Referendum will be on the August Ballot

On the August ballot, voters will find a referendum for a tax exemption incentive for new or expanding businesses in Santa Rosa County. The economic development incentive has been in place in Santa Rosa County since 1980 and allows the commission to grant exemptions to the county portion of ad valorem taxes to businesses that meet certain requirements. The purpose is to provide an additional economic development incentive for businesses to locate or expand in Santa Rosa County.
