Tri-County All-Stars Finish Season
The 12U Tri – County All-Stars boys baseball team had a disappointing finish, losing all four games of the Pool Play at the State Tournament. The boys played hard but were unable to string hits together to produce enough offense to win. The regular shortstop, Blaine Miller, was benched due to a mouth injury he received in the third game and Dutch Burkhead stepped up to play that position.
The team players were: Blayne Miller, Dutch Burkhead, Reid Kelly, Jackson Free, Jackson Flowers, Seth Killam, Jackson Moore, Michael Jones Jr., Jeremiah Woods & Kendrell Redmon. Coaches for the team are Gary Killam and Doodle Langhorne.

One proud mom! These boys played great at the state tournament. They have only been together as an All-Star team for a few weeks & played against teams that had been playing together as travel ball teams year round for a couple of years. For the time that these boys have practiced & played together; they did outstanding! Great try Tri-County! Reid Kelly, that hit was AWESOME!!!! Way to go! All of our players are very talented & I feel that they did an outstanding job representing Tri-County & their home parks.
So proud of all of our Tri-county All Stars.
These boys did a great job representing Tri-County. Blayne took a hard hit to the mouth but he came back to the game to help cheer them on. I want to congratulate Reid Kelley for his home-run hit in the tournament. These guys made lots of memories together. Hopefully, Tri-County will have another chance at state next year. Good Try Tri-County!!!!!!!
